Crim’s History

Have you ever bought something from a friend who you knew wasn’t trying to take advantage of you? Sure…you and I both have. Well, that’s what getting a trailer from Crim’s Trailer Sales is like. We’re sure it’ll be one of the friendliest experiences you’ll have. Why? Because our family has been helping folks like you haul your stuff around the valley since 1971.

Based in Front Royal, Virginia, James Crim started out selling campers, camper tops and accessories part time while he worked another full time job. The whole Crim family jumped in to help the business and bent over backwards to make the customer feel like the most important person on earth. That kind of dedication is what made Crim’s Trailer Sales continue to grow into what it is today.

Moving to its current location in 1977, a young Tony Crim started helping his dad out. From the time he was a wee lad and even today, Tony has been around, in, under, on top of, between and probably even had some fingers pinched by everything that has to do with trailers and hitches. His is the smiling face that waits to greet you as soon as you pull up on the lot.

With the passing of Tony’s dad, James, in early 2005, Ann (Tony’s mom) took the reigns as company president and, together with Tony, continues the same great tradition of service that was started back in 1971.
